Paper Valley Youth Soccer offers two programs for soccer throught the year.

Competitive soccer, more commonly known as "classic" or "red league" feature teams that are formed by tryouts. Registration is handled by coaches and team managers.Registration for Paper Valley Youth Soccer.

PVYSC also offers a recreational soccer program for all players from ages 4 to 19. These teams play in the spring and summer and generally play and practice once a week.

CLASSIC SOCCER

Also known as competitive soccer, or "red league," features teams that have been formed in the late summer/early fall each year and play together for a seasonal year, which runs from Aug. 1 to July 31.

Tryouts for these teams were held beginning June 21.

Tryout Registration and Paperwork

While we are trying to keep paperwork to a minimum, there are a few items you will need to make sure are completed prior to the tryouts:

1. Tryout Registration
2. Medical/Liability Waiver. All Players must complete this form for tryouts, even though they already have a form on file with their existing team.
3. Player Registration Form
4. Birth certificate for age verification. (Bring this to check-in.)

Payment and Fees

Fees for tryouts consist of two parts:

• $25 non-refundable tryout fee (paid online). Ths fee will be $35 if registering after June 18 or on-site.
• $100 player registration fee. This fee, along with the medical/Liability waiver and player registration form should either be mailed in prior to tryouts, or hand delivered on-site. Mailing Address: PO Box 173, Neenah, WI 54957-0173.

Existing Teams

The club organizes and conducts the tryouts for teams playing in U11 to U14. Teams at U15 and higher are allowed to run their own tryouts, however, they must coordinate tryout scheduling, registration and publication with the club.

RECREATIONAL SOCCER

PVYSC runs a recreational soccer program each summer from the end of april until late June/early July. This program is open to all players ages 4 to 19. The teams usually play one game a week and hold an additional practice. The U5 through U10 teams play an in-house schedule against other PVYSC teams. U12 and higher teams play within East Central against other clubs such as Appleton Soccer Club or Menasha Area Soccer Club.

Online

PVYSC online registration center will remain open 24 hours a day to assist you in registering for the 2011 season. Fees are listed in the chart below. We will be acceting registrations through Jan 15 with no additional fees. At that time, we will order uniforms for the upcoming season based on the numbers registered. After Jan 15, there will be an additional $25 fee charged to cover the addtional uniform costs.

As always, there are no credit card processing fees to register online.

In-Person

Our in-person registration has conlcuded for the 2010 season. However, you may still register online and pay no addiitonal fees until January 15. Financial assistance is available. Please call Club Administrator Sean Johnson (920) 209-6121.

Length of Season

The season begins the last week of April and will end before July 4 for ages U5 to U14. Because of the high school sports seasons, U16 and U19 teams will play in the month of July.

Fees for the 2010 Season will be as follows:
U5 - Players born between Aug. 1, 2005 and July 31, 2006 - $55, $80 after Jan. 15
U6 - Players born between Aug. 1, 2004 and July 31, 2005 - $55, $80 after Jan. 15
U7 - Players born between Aug. 1, 2003 and July 31, 2004 - $65, $90 after Jan. 15
U8 - Players born between Aug. 1, 2002 and July 31, 2003 - $65, $90 after Jan. 15
U9/10 - Players born between Aug. 1, 2000 and July 31, 2002 - $70, $95 after Jan. 15
U12 - Players born between Aug. 1, 1998 and July 31, 2000 - $70, $95 after Jan. 15
U14 - Players born between Aug. 1, 1996 and July 31, 1998 - $70, $95 after Jan. 15
U16 - Players born between Aug. 1, 1994 and July 31, 1996 - $70, $95 after Jan. 15

U19 - Players born between Aug 1, 1991 and July 31, 1994 - $70, $95 after Jan. 15

(All fees include applicable state sales tax.)

In the recreational program, we offer coed only at U5, U6, U16 and U19. At all other ages, female players have the option of playing coed or girls only. Additional information on nights of play can be found in the game nights section of the web site.

Classic players will be registered as a team by their coach or manager following the team selection process and should not register through this process.
